Dancer, Curator, Arts Manager, – Masoom Parmar dons multiple hats. His career expands beyond the traditional network. Masoom has 4 full-length solo works and 2 ensemble productions to his credit. His current work is informed by his research on the idea of identity and belonging, fuelled by his training in multiple dance forms and his experiences as an artiste of a Muslim-Zoroastrian heritage. He has worked closely with Tanusree Shankar, Madhu Nataraj, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Mayuri Upadhya, Nritarutya Dance Company, Serendipity Arts Festival, Narthaki.com and Natya STEM Dance Kampni in his capacity as an arts manager. As a curator, he works closely with folk artistes, bringing together diverse forms from the margins to the center.
