Upagna Pandya has been trained in vocal music under Smt Kaumudi Munshi, one of the best vocalists of Gujarati sugam sangeet. Upagna performs gujarati sugam sangeet and folk music across the country and abroad. Upagna has sung in languages like hindi, gujarati, english, marathi, sanskrit for various projects. She has sung title songs of tv serials like Preet piyu ne panna ben, Dikri vhaal no dariyo, Hum do hain na, Captain’s hunt etc. She has given her voice for films like Makdee, Blue umbrella, Vanilla strawberry chocolate, Sapt-padi etc. She has also sung for devotional albums like Mantra suravali, Swanubhutina zarna.
