Chefs and Taste Makers Open Call 2026

Serendipity Arts Festival 2026 aims to showcase food and its connections with culture, community, and sustainability. Through this open call, we invite culinary establishments, restaurants, chefs and food truck operators from across India to bring a diverse range of cuisine, culinary traditions, and food experiences to the Festival in Goa.

Dates: 13–20 December 2026
Location: Panjim, Goa

Fees

Stall participation fees range from ₹17,000 to ₹24,000 per stall per day, depending on venue and stall size. For all 8 days, the total participation fee will therefore range from ₹1,36,000 to ₹1,92,000, exclusive of applicable GST (13–20 December), payable to Serendipity Arts as fixed participation fees for the space allocated to you. Selected food stalls will need to make the complete payment to Serendipity Arts by 15th November in order to secure their spot at the Festival.  Rates are non-negotiable, and non-payment will result in cancellation of space allocation. 

Upon receipt of your application, we will process it promptly, and our team will contact you with specific pricing based on your selected venue and space requirements. 

The final menu and pricing for the Festival will be discussed and collectively decided upon.

What Serendipity Arts Will Provide

Infrastructure

  • Stall space (select spaces may have a covered roof) 
  • Water (not potable, provided via tankers) and electricity, for operational hours per day as per standard Serendipity Arts internal policy for the venue(additional usage may be provided at Serendipity Arts’ discretion)
  • Shared cooking and cleaning space
  • Shared storage space
  • Space for branding and marketing (sizes and locations at Serendipity Arts’ discretion, shared at the start of the Festival)

Publicity & Outreach

  • A free interactive Festival standee for display at your stall, promoting your participation
  • Feature in the “Places to Visit” section of our official collaterals and website
  • Feature in the partner grid of our official Festival catalogue
  • Logo inclusion in our Food & Beverage Partners grid, displayed prominently across venues
  • Feature in our post-event social media grid showcasing all F&B partners

FAQs

I am a food vendor but I am not based in Goa, can I still apply?

Yes, we welcome vendors from all parts of India, but SAF will not provide travel and boarding support. You will also need to apply for a temporary GST in Goa and share all certificates with the SAF team. 

Can I apply if my GST registration or FSSAI approval is still pending?
Yes, if you are certain you will receive your certificate by 15th October 2026.

Can I leave my appliances and personal property at the venue overnight?
Yes, we offer basic security and storage space at the food stalls. However, Serendipity Arts is not liable for any loss or theft.

Is overnight refrigeration available?
No.

What is the application deadline, and what happens if I miss it or the payment deadline?

Applications close on 5 October, 11:59 pm IST. Selected vendors must complete full payment by 15 November to secure their spot. Stall fees are fixed and non-negotiable, and there is no provision for late applications or late payments. Missing either deadline will result in your application not being considered, or your allocated space being cancelled.

Will there be a Central Billing System?
No. Food stall vendors can accept payments via UPI, cash, or card. Serendipity Arts will not provide payment machines. Bills are to be provided for each sale and there must be a visible sign at your stall stating: “Consider your meal free if you don’t receive a bill.”

Will Serendipity Arts provide excise licenses for the stalls?
Serendipity Arts will assist vendors in obtaining excise licenses. Your cooperation is required.

Can I use my own branding for the stall?
Serendipity Arts provides common branding for all stalls as fascia, but you may decorate and add your own branding as per your preference inside the stall.

Can I choose my own stall timings?
No. Stall timings are fixed and aligned with the Festival schedule at each venue, and are non-negotiable.

Can I serve alcohol?
You need the relevant excise license and a VAT number or certificate to serve alcohol, and you may only serve alcohol from brands that have partnered with Serendipity Arts Festival for 2026. 

What kind of beverages can I serve?

You may only serve alcohol and other beverages from designated partners present at your venue. For example, if your venue has a beer partner, you may only serve that specific brand; the same applies for whiskey and soda partners. For example, if Brand A is our beverage partner at DB Ground, you can not serve Brand B
