  • RESIDENCIES

The idea of artist residencies is not a new one; it is ever evolving, with a basic aim to be a catalyst for artists’ ability to move across the world. Residencies create opportunities for artists to develop a deeper understanding of themselves within the context of their practice, as well as giving insights into the different backgrounds and artistic processes of their fellow artists. Playing the role of facilitator, artist residencies have become intrinsic to many artists’ careers.
