Manish is a self-taught photographer, based out of Goa. After having lived in a metropolis for years and not being able to relate to much of the city life (other than the street food!), he relocated to Goa, which he now very fondly calls his home. As they say, home is where the heart (art!) is!
Photography to Manish is a means for his creative expression, a source of joy that lets him momentarily freeze time which otherwise seems to be racing away, and a burning passion that can keep him happily awake all night.
Much as his photography, he likes to see himself as a “work-in-progress” and draws inspiration from the seemingly mundane (people, places, situations from everyday life) to the so-called extra-ordinary. While he prefers to not slot his work into a specific genre, he often finds himself photographing people and their stories.
